Geologs is the world’s first cloud based geotechnical borehole logging system. Established in 2007 it has successfully been in operation since then, servicing numerous clients based in UK, Australia and New Zealand and having been involved in thousands of projects producing over one million logs.

The system is a combination of two applications:

Geologs

Geologs has been in operation since 2007. It is cloud software written using the latest programming languages.

It has been developed and robustly tested by geoenvironmental and geotechnical engineers and programmers for geoenvironmental and geotechnical data management.

Unlike windows based systems Geologs is cloud based for use over the internet, allowing your remote based engineers and offices to have access to an integrated system from any computer or tablet.

Since Geologs is a web application, administration and support of the system is maintained at our web servers meaning there is no requirement for installations and updates of the software on your computers.

  • Import of field data from the Fieldlog tablet application.
  • Production of scale exploratory hole logs in real time using Adobe pdf format.
  • Production of scale cross sections.
  • User customised design of log templates.
  • Input and storage of geotechnical, contamination, laboratory and ground gas information as per the latest UK-AGS (Association of Geotechnical Specialists) format.
  • Import and export of AGS4.1 and AGS4.1-AUS compatible data.
  • ‘Artificial Query’ facilities to extract ‘filtered’ data from the database to produce reports, forms and exports using Microsoft Office automation.
  • Production of laboratory test schedules in Adobe pdf format.
  • In built security and passwords.
  • Import of field data from the Fieldlog tablet application.

  • Is driven by a (gloved) finger, large buttons and inputs with no requirement for stylus
  • Pre programmed with user library to minimise need for typed repetitive entry
